Ellington is part of the Jazz collection — Horm’s modular sofa system that blends elegance, comfort, and Italian craftsmanship. The patented aluminum frame, light and recyclable, forms the technical core of the design, enabling flexible configurations and a clean aesthetic.

With balanced volumes and harmonious proportions, Ellington represents the most classic and reassuring side of the collection while retaining a modern soul. The modular elements — end units, corners, chaise longues, and central seats — allow endless compositions, ideal for elegant residential interiors or premium hospitality spaces.

The differentiated-density padding ensures deep, consistent comfort, while the low profile — raised only 3 cm off the floor — conveys visual stability and composure. Ellington Modular embodies Horm’s discreet refinement: perfect proportions, authentic comfort, and enduring quality.

Technical Specifications

> Aluminum frame and feet. Foot height 2.5 cm.

> Backrests and Armrests: Structure in solid wood and plywood. High-density polyurethane foam padding.

> Seat Cushions: Non-deformable polyurethane foam with differentiated density and very high resilience. The cushions rest on elastic straps with a high rubber content, anchored to the aluminum frame.

> Back Cushions: Back cushions with channeled goose-down padding and a central insert in high-resilience polyurethane foam with differentiated densities.

> Lumbar Cushions in channeled goose down.

> Removability: Removable cover in both the fabric and leather versions.

The armrests and backrests are attached to the aluminum frame via a quick-release bayonet system, allowing simple and intuitive assembly and disassembly of the sofa.

Benefits of the bayonet coupling system:

> Improved transportability: The quick-release coupling system allows the sofa to be disassembled into multiple parts, making transport easier in tight or hard-to-reach spaces.

> Simplified maintenance: Armrests and backrests can be removed separately, allowing targeted cleaning or replacement of covers without disassembling the entire sofa.

> Practical removability: The detachable structure facilitates reupholstering or fabric replacement, making the sofa versatile and easily customizable.
