Freely inspired by the works of Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez and his Op Art. The viewer is not a spectator but an actor who interacts with the piece of furniture itself, changing its colour as the point of view changes, perceiving the effect of a curtain opening and closing.

The Carlos sideboard in the "On The Base" version has its feet replaced by a MID-CENTURY MODERN or MINIMAL DESIGN metal base in two heights, 16 or 32 cm.

The Carlos sideboard was created as a tribute to the artist Carlos Cruz-Diez and his Op Art. The Venezuelan artist is one of the founding fathers of optical considered one of the greatest artistic innovators of the 20th century.
