A challenge won
Flower is the result of an exciting collaboration with two masters of world design, D'Urbino and Lomazzi, who decided to take up Horm's challenge: to create an extendable round table that is as beautiful when closed as when open.
Technical and aesthetic solutions
The tabletops slide without the use of extendable rails, thanks to a technical solution that also becomes aesthetic: the extension leaf emerges and opens like the blooming of a flower, proving that a 'good look' is the natural consequence of good design.
The centrepiece
Massive yet light, discreet yet present: Flower is functional, versatile and elegant. Flower will undoubtedly become the centrepiece of any dining space and the perfect place for dinners with family or friends.
D'Urbino Lomazzi
Born in Milan in the 1930s, the two designers have been working together in object and architectural design since 1966. Their experimentation led them to participate in the exhibition 'Italy: The New Domestic Landscape' at the M.o.M.A. in New York. Their works are collected in the world's most important museums and their production is documented in numerous books on the history of design.
