Mass Pressure is an iconic armchair that translates an artistic gesture into functional design.
Born from the idea of compression as a metaphor for humanity’s pressure on the planet, the seat transforms three foam blocks into a surprisingly comfortable and enveloping form.
Its structure, composed of two tubular metal frames, compresses three hand-shaped polyurethane blocks upholstered in bouclé fabric.
The result is a balance between force and softness: the energy of matter bends to function, giving life to a fluid, sculptural shape.
Originally presented as an art piece at Milan’s Supersalone in 2021 and later reinterpreted in 2022 as collectible furniture, Mass Pressure embodies the dialogue between art, nature, and responsibility.
Available in five bouclé tones, it is designed for exclusive living areas, executive spaces, or high-end hospitality environments where design becomes both a sensory and aesthetic experience.
