Today, we want to tell you about a place that is far more than just a hotel. Collini Rooms in Milan is a forward-looking space where design and art merge, creating a perfect fusion of culture, relaxation, and comfort.
Wandering through the hotel, guests can discover the walls of its various spaces adorned with frescoes by Federico Unia, the multifaceted contemporary artist better known as Omer. These works juxtapose sacred and profane, human and animal, classical art reinterpreted alongside pop culture. The feeling is as if one is walking through a single, enormous work of art.
It’s not just the walls that serve as giant artistic canvases—the entire hotel is a vibrant labyrinth of original, artistic spaces, where one might encounter comic book characters in statue form or animals long thought extinct.
In such an unconventional setting, the Him & Her chairs, designed by Fabio Novembre for Casamania—Horm’s sister brand dedicated to Soft Contract furniture—find their perfect place. These anthropomorphic chairs, perched at the intersection of contemporary art and industrial design, act as sculptural furniture pieces that uniquely furnish the hotel’s interiors, creating a dreamlike, fantastical universe.
