One of these strategies involves leveraging design as a creative tool to interact with production processes, allowing tourism to evolve into a sector where creative strategies add value and elevate the guest experience.
The concept is to harness the skills of designers to craft innovative spaces that adapt to the needs of the tourism sector, improving visitor satisfaction while increasing the destination’s overall value.
A tangible example of this design-driven approach can be found at Collini Villas in Mykonos, a project by architect Sophia Apergi. This resort features rooms designed with the latest trends in modern design, emphasizing comfort without compromising style.
