Additional information

Designer

Carlos is a sideboard born from the creativity of Renato Zamberlan and inspired by the chromatic explorations of Carlos Cruz-Diez (1923–2019), master of Op Art and perceptual phenomena. More than just storage, it brings the language of optical-kinetic art into interior design, turning color into a dynamic experience.

The precisely crafted front panels come alive with shifting reflections that change with light and the observer’s position. The piece is never static — it changes, vibrates, and surprises, creating an ongoing visual dialogue.

In this version, Carlos features Mid-Century legs, a detail that recalls the aesthetics of the 1950s and 1960s. The clean, slender lines introduce a retro charm that evokes the timeless appeal of modernism. The result is a piece that unites the visual experimentation of optical-kinetic art with the nostalgic elegance of classic design — refined for both contemporary and traditional settings.
