A wooden insert, derived from Toyo Ito’s celebrated Ripples bench, breaks the continuity of the surfaces with a poetic, recognizable gesture. The hand-crafted multilayer inlay — made from five natural woods (walnut, mahogany, cherry, oak, and maple) — tells the story of artisanal mastery and the material elegance of wood, becoming the distinctive hallmark of the piece.
