Riddled Buffet is a functional work of art, characterized by a painted aluminum structure and five storage units with perforated ebony wood doors.
Each door is made from sheets of wood only two millimeters thick, folded like origami through Horm’s complex patented process.
The laser-engraved textures, typical of Steven Holl’s design language, filter light and project geometric shadows across the surfaces, turning the sideboard into a sculptural, vibrant volume.
Lightness and solidity coexist in equilibrium, creating a furnishing piece unique for its aesthetic value and technical mastery.
